Russian Expedition: New Season
Headed by Professor Alexander Sedov and Professor Vitaly Naumkin the Russian expedition will start its operations on 7 November, 2009.
To quote the expedition organizers, their activities will be concentrated on field archeological studies. They plan to continue digging at the site of ancient settlement located 5 km westward of Hadiboh.
The
scientists plan to study Socotrans’ dialects, customs and traditions mainly in
Hadiboh and Momi areas.
