For a new port on Socotra, which is very important for development of the Archipelago, it is projected to construct a ship channel providing roundabout ship traffic, two breakwaters and a number of port terminals, as well as to build approach roads and port storage, administrative and maintenance facilities.
It is also planned to supply and install port handing facilities, to organize pilotage and other port services, to provide wire & wireless communication and self-contained power supply, as well as to render a full package of consultation and technical services including performance of research, design and management works in the course of the project realization.
