It has been pouring for almost a week on Socotra. Such rainy weather in May has not been for a long time.
It rains all over the island, so Socotra’s flora is going to come into leaf by the beginning of summer, which is very rare. Last time such heavy rain was witnessed on the New-Year's Day. You can see what was happening at that time on the following photos (made by Neshwan):
