Wadi Dirhur Canyon

Каньон Wadi Dirhur

Wadi Dirhur Canyon has an ill fame among locals. A deserted house located near a fresh water stream eloquently points to the fact that that even availability of fresh water cannot seduce locals to live here because they have a great fear of genies, who live in the canyon according to hill-men.

However, it did not prevent us from spending the night here under date-trees abundantly fringing the stream.

The canyon is inhabited by birds of all kinds. It is very interesting to keep watch over this feathered race. If you buy a pack of dates in Hadiboh to feed the birds, you will be greatly amused by their passion for this delicacy.
