Tourism back to Socotra. The unrest in Yemen have reduced the traffic of the island, but now on Socotra has increased the number of guests from different countries - Germany, Britain, France, Russia and even Turkey. It became more and more visitors from Arab countries and the Yemen mainland.
Decrease of tourism activity has resulted in a number of campsites that is not working or not offer a proper service. Therefore, anyone who is going to visit Socotra in the near future, we recommend to select programs with the autonomous overnight stops camping or overnight stays in hotels in Hadibo.
Our new trekking programs include new places overnight staying. Thus, in February we had an interesting program, which includes a full day with two overnight stops in the bay Shuab, spending the night in the "Dream village" with trekking to the biggest freshwater pools on the island. Photographers appreciate a new place lodging in the dunes on the southern coast of Socotra and in the mountainous part of the plateau Mumi.
